The rehabilitation products that are shown are used as a supplement with some of our treatment techniques. We like to encourage self-management of pain and dysfunction and these products promote these beliefs. They can be picked up from our administrative staff at reception.
In some cases, the therapist may be required to teach the use of some of these products such as the kinesiotape, sacro-iliac belt and foam rolls, so that the client uses the products appropriately. This instruction would be done in one of the treatment sessions as part of the treatment to be followed up at home.

There are many different types of elastic therapeutic tape on the market today for not only Olympic athletes, but also weekend warriors or even anyone requiring retraining or pain modulation. This tape is designed to mimic the thickness and elasticity of human skin to help protect tissues during recovery for safer range of motion while exercising or doing everyday activity.
These tapes are used to support a joint, facilitate or inhibit muscle and best of all reduce pain. They are all latex-free, water resistant and hypoallergenic and can last up to 3-5 days.
There are tricks to tape application and the therapists have been on lots of courses in order to learn the best application for these tapes. The spidertech tape comes in pre-cuts and is one continuous piece of tape to help reinforcement.
